Ozzy Osbourne will make his debut appearance on the second stage of his Ozzfest festival when the event rolls into Devore, Calif., on July 8. As previously reported, Osbourne is scaling back his Ozzfest performances this year and will appear on the main stage at just nine shows.

"I haven't had a chance to play this close to an audience in years and I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to it," he says of the upcoming second stage appearance.

Osbourne is also hoping to get back into the studio this year with longtime collaborator Zakk Wylde, which would be their first collaboration on new material since 2001's "Down to Earth."
