Jim Breuer is known primarily for his film, TV and comedy roles, but he's getting into the musical spirit -- as well as the Christmas spirit, sort of -- for the first single from his upcoming album.
"Santa Claus Ain't Coming to Town" arrives just in time for Christmas -- a little over a week before, in fact -- and Billboard has the exclusive premiere.
The heavy metal-tinged track decries naughty kids all over the world, calling out the children who don't pick up their toys and use social media before finishing homework and chores. If his demands aren't met? "Santa is going to skip right by the house," he rants.
"'Santa Claus Ain’t Coming to Town' is this year’s anthem for parents to their children," Breuer says of the song. "It's a parent's funny warning to shape up or else.... 'Santa Claus Ain’t Coming to Town.'"
To an extent, Breuer isn't just yelling at child actors in the video. His daughter, Dorianne, and nephew Zachary appear in the clip.
Breuer's as-of-yet-untitled new album, which features hard rock and metal influences, is scheduled for a spring 2014 release.
