The track is the Ryan Tedder-led band's third No. 1 on the chart, following "Good Life" (four weeks, 2011) and its breakthrough as a featured act on Timbaland's "Apologize" (six weeks, 2008). Tedder, meanwhile, co-wrote and produced Colbie Caillat's new single "Hold On," the chart's Greatest Gainer at No. 18.

Four days after its surprise release, the album "Beyonce" yields its first Billboard airplay chart hit, as "Drunk in Love," featuring Jay-Z, enters R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay as the Greatest Gainer at No. 48 (3.4 million in audience across 46 reporters, according to Nielsen BDS). The set has become the fastest-selling in the iTunes Store's history - 828,773 sold worldwide in its first three days. It's expected to launch at No. 1 on this week's U.S.-based Billboard 200 chart with 617,000 in U.S. sales.
