Goldhil Entertainment has set a Sept. 26 release date for the career-spanning Kenny Rogers DVD "The Journey," which features 24 songs represented in live footage from the respective eras when they were making an impact on the Billboard charts.

The track list runs the gamut from Rogers' pre-solo career smash with the First Edition, "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" to "She Believes in Me," "We've Got Tonight," "Islands in the Stream" with Dolly Parton, "She Believes in Me," "The Gambler" and "Lucille."

Throughout, behind-the-scenes stories are shared by industry veterans such as Lionel Richie, David Foster and Mike Curb. Among the bonus features are live renditions of five songs from Rogers' 2006 album, "Water & Bridges," recorded earlier this year, plus a studio rehearsal with Dolly Parton and a rare video for the early track "Tell It All Brother."

Rogers will be on tour throughout the rest of the year, and will next play July 28 in Cork, Ireland. A number of upcoming dates will feature the Oak Ridge Boys. A longer run through Ireland, Scotland and the United Kingdom will get underway Oct. 16 in Glasgow.
