Live Nation Florida is launching its first music festival next month, with a focus on rising alternative acts, complimented by food trucks, craft beer and plenty of art.
The Coastline Festival will take place Nov. 9 at Mid-Florida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa and Nov.10 at Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach featuring performances by Passion Pit, Fitz & The Tantrums, Matt & Kim, Two Door Cinema Club and The Joy Formidable, among others.
The event joins Live Nation’s roster of existing day fests in other genres, including the Wanee Festival, Sunshine Music and Blues Festival and the Funshine Festival.
"We felt the timing was perfect to launch a completely new concept focused on exciting alternative acts on the rise," said Neil Jacobsen, President of Live Nation Florida.
The festival, which is being billed as a "musiculinary experience," will also feature a craft beer cove and a lineup of food trucks, in addition to arts stands.
