E! was first to report the engagement, which occurred at a rented-out AT&T Park, the home of the San Francisco Giants, where Kardashian was apparently expecting a "surprise" party to mark her 33rd birthday. Instead, West brought in the big guns for a bigger occasion: an orchestra and the stadium's center field scoreboard, which displayed a polite proposal: "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" A 50-piece orchestra were said to have played Lana Del Rey's "Young and Beautiful" and Keri Hilson's “Knock You Down," which features Ne-Yo and 'Ye.
Several family members and friends of the pair were there to document the moment, which has not been formally announced by the couple.
West gave Kardashian a 15-carat diamond ring, designed by Lorraine Schwartz. Needless to say, the birthday girl said yes.
The rapper and reality star made their coupledom public last year and have a 4-month-old daughter, North, who was not at the proposal party. This will be West's first marriage and Kardashian's third.
