Atoms For Peace, Lionel Richie and others have had their performances washed out.

The final day of the Austin City Limits Music Festival has been cancelled due to severe rain.

According to the Austin American-Stateman, the Austin area received between 5 and 11 inches of rain over Saturday night (Oct. 12), causing some flooding. A flash flood watch and flood warning are in effect throughout Sunday.

"Our first priority is always the safety of our fans, staff and artists," says Shelby Meade, communications director for C3 Presents, the promoter behind Austin City Limits Music Festival. "We regret having to cancel the show today, but safety always comes first."

Full refunds will be offered for ACL attendees for Sunday, which would have been the final day of the second weekend of the annual festival. Phoenix, Lionel Richie, Atoms For Peace and Eric Church were among the artists scheduled to perform at Zilker Park on Sunday.
