Less than two weeks after Kanye West lashed out at Jimmy Kimmel on Twitter, the rapper has been confirmed as a guest on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday night (Oct. 9).
On Sept. 26, West took to Twitter to blast Kimmel for a "Jimmy Kimmel Live" sketch in which the late-night host spoofed West's hour-long interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe. The satire of the candid interview featured a child actor reenacting West's interview word-for-word.
"JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS," West posted. "JIMMY KIMMEL, I DON'T TAKE IT AS A JOKE…. YOU DON'T HAVE SCUM BAGS HOPPING OVER FENCES TRYING TO TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR DAUGHTER."
Although some have speculated that the feud was staged for publicity, both sides have held their poker faces since the incident. When news broke of West's upcoming "Kimmel" appearance, Kimmel posted on Twitter, "TOMORROW NIGHT, MY GUEST WILL BE @kanyewest (for real, yes and was it all a setup, no).
For those wondering, the previously scheduled musical guest for tomorrow night's show is Arctic Monkeys.
