YouTube is teaming with Cingular on a new unsigned-band promotion called the YouTube Underground. Unsigned bands are being asked to submit original music videos, live concert footage, best song or most creative film that best represents their talents from October 2-18.
The acts with the wining clips will be featured in a YouTube segment on Good Morning America on November 29, and qualify for a chance to have a song become a Cingular ring tone or be featured in a television show through Chop Shop Music Supervision.
Alexandra Patsavas of Chop Shop Music Supervision will select the best song, best music video, best live performance and best creative work.
