Ellie had the boys in the audience eating out of her hand.

I have always loved playing at Toads Place in New Haven, and last night was no exception. Ellie had the boys in the audience eating out of her hand. The Romantics then rocked it up in their usual fashion. The Shadows of Knight have become "romantically inclined" over the last two weeks, so Jimy decided that it was high time that we had some fun with our friends... the
Romantics.

We asked Mike and Wally (the Romantics) to play "Oh Yeah" with us. Rick Mullens (Commander Cody), and longtime S.O.K. fan, stopped by to say hello. We enlisted him to play bass on the tune. The first of the SOK all-star jams was underway. Wally wailed on harmonica. Mike and Bobby (SOK) swapped sizzling guitar licks. The small but mighty crowd showed their appreciation with thunderous applause. This is maximum rock'n'roll!

Those who couldn't make it out on the rainy Tuesday night missed a rip roaring evening of the best that rock and roll has to offer. We're headed for Phllly tonight, then Atlantic City and the Big Apple. The fun and surprises have only just begun!
