Dolly Parton will embark on a one-month European outing next spring, with stops in Norway, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, England and Scotland. The tour kicks off March 7 at Denmark's Horsens Ny Teater and winds up April 2 in Dublin, Ireland.

The country singer's previous European trek took place in the '70s, according to the Web site for Horsens Ny Teater.

The site also posted a message from Parton, stating, "I have loved performing since I was big enough to wrestle my little brothers and sisters into sitting long enough for me to sing them my latest musical masterpiece. I just hope ya'll will come out and see this little girl from the hills of Tennessee walk out there on that big ole stage and make her dreams come true."

Parton is currently touring the United States through November. Her most recent album -- the 2005 cover set "Those Were The Days" (Sugar Hill) -- bowed at No. 9 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart and has sold 151,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
