Vanilla Ice to Perform at NFL Halftime Show
Word to your mother: Vanilla Ice will perform at the halftime show of this Sunday's game between the Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
The NFL team booked Ice, born Robert Van Winkle and a Dallas native, to be a main attraction of their "Liberty White Out" festivities at the game, the Texans' home opener.
Texans fans are being urged to wear all-white at the game.
The "Ice Ice Baby" rapper has found new success in recent years as a TV handyman on DIY Network's "The Vanilla Ice Project," but he continues to release music as well, including 2011's "W.T.F. (Wisdom, Tenacity and Focus").
To promote the performance, the Texans posted a video that kicks off with star linebacker Brian Cushing. Watch it here.
