The Icelandic trio will appear on the HBO show's upcoming fourth season.
Sigur Ros will journey to Westeros for the fourth season of "Game of Thrones."
The group will appear on the HBO show next year, according to Entertainment Weekly, which reports that the trio is on set in Croatia shooting their parts now. EW, which broke the news, was "sworn to secrecy" about the group's role on the show but hinted that they may perform.
They won't be the first musicians on the show: Coldplay's Will Champion and Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody have previously made cameos. Beyond its fantasy-realm adventures, "Game of Thrones" has built a musical mythology, tapping artists such as the National and the Hold Steady for original songs.
Sigur Ros released "Kveikur," the band's seventh studio set, in June. "Game of Thrones" will return in early 2014.
