Bruno Mars will rock the Super Bowl XLVIII halftime show in 2014, a source confirmed to Billboard on Saturday (September 7). The L.A. Times first reported the possible Bruno Mars halftime gig, citing its own sources. The Associated Press has also reported Mars will perform. An NFL spokesperson had no comment when reached by Billboard Saturday afternoon. An official announcement is expected on on Sunday.
The "Locked Out of Heaven" hitmaker has five months to prep for a Super Bowl halftime gig; Super Bowl XLVIII takes place on February 2, 2014 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
