Capitol/Priority will on Dec. 26 issue the greatest hits collection "The Best of N.W.A: The Strength of Street Knowledge." The 17-track CD and separate CD/DVD set round up music videos and footage from previously unreleased interviews.

All the band's most iconic tracks are present, including "Straight Outta Compton," "F*** Tha Police" and "Express Yourself." Nine tracks from the album will debut Dec. 12 as ringtunes, with 35 different audio clip options.

The CD/DVD boasts music videos for "Straight Outta Compton," "Express Yourself," "100 Miles and Runnin'" and "Appetite for Destruction," plus rare interviews with the late Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren and Yella in various incarnations, discussing their style of music, parental advisory stickering and their influence on rap culture.

N.W.A. has been back in the spotlight of late thanks to the book "Ruthless: A Memoir" by Jerry Heller, who co-founded Ruthless Records with Eazy-E and was home to N.W.A. during its heyday.
