Paramore is the latest rock band headlining its very own cruise ship festival. Today, Hayley Williams and company confirmed they will be setting out to sea on the Parahoy! cruise, a partnership with the cruise brand Sixthman, from March 7 to 11, 2014.
Paramore, Tegan and Sara, and a slew of other acts will depart from Miami on March 7 aboard the Norwegian Pearl, and arrive in a so far undisclosed location in the Caribbean on March 11. According to a press release, the remainder of the lineup will be announced shortly.
Concerts will happen across multiple stages throughout the ship, allowing for fan interaction and artist collaborations. Paramore will be hosting activities, as will the other bands, along with Q&A sessions and other activities.
Paramore are still in support of this year's self-titled album, which debuted atop the Billboard 200. They're on tour throughout North America with Hellogoodbye and Metric from Oct. 15 to Nov. 27.
Weezer -- who helped popularize the "rock cruise" concept back in 2011 -- also announced their own cruise for early 2014 back March. On Feb. 13 of next year, they'll set sail along with Cat Power, Toro Y Moi, DIIV, and a host of others. Hopefully, these cruises fare better than Mark McGrath's ill-fated quest.
