The last night of the tour and last curtain call in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at "Hard Rock Live" was a knock down, drag out, high energy, ass kickin', rock n roll milestone.

Recently back to performing on stage, Roky Erickson screachin' "Your Gonna Miss Me," the Charms with a new c.d. on Steven’s Wicked Cool Records, singin' "Your So Romantic" and everyone, I mean everyone, on Cheap Tricks' closing song "Gloria," Shadows of Knight, Roky Erickson, the Charms, and yours truly the Romantics. Mike and Wally fillin' in back-ups with Robin Zander, whose vocals all night were smokin', impeccable, we however were speechless... except for "G-l-o-r-i-a... Gloria!"

After the show, Elvis made a showing, and sing a long to Happy Birthday for Maureen Van Zandt before he left the building for Graceland. Love was had by all!
The Romantics want to thank Steven, Maureen, Twilla, Jean B., Andrew, Adam, Gloria, Joe L., Tigi, Christina, Scott and Jeff, Erika, Andy, Pete & Dale the bus driver, The Underground Garage Girls A Go-Go, Whitney, Tara, Nicole, Lorelle, Suzy & Ann; Shadows of Knight, Jimmi, Bobby, Lee, and Mike; The Charms Ellie, Joe, Frederick, Ethan and Mark.

It was great rockin' with you and making beautiful new friends. Keep it real...
