Fresh off nine dates in Mexico, Chayanne is prepping a new album for release in March via Sony BMG.

Jeff Tweedy will embark on a short solo tour beginning Jan. 16 in Memphis. The Wilco frontman will make stops primarily in the Southeast, including performances in New Orleans, Atlanta and Charlottesville, Va.
Tweedy will be supporting the recent release of his solo DVD "Sunken Treasure: Live in the Pacific Northwest." Wilco is finishing up work on its next album, due in late spring, and, as previously reported, Wilco bassist John Stirratt and his side band Autumn Defense will release a self-titled effort Jan. 9 via Broadmoor.

Scissor Sisters are the second group to confirm dates at the O2, a soon-to-open London venue. The group will play the 23,000-capacity 02 Arena July 26-27, following a Justin Timberlake engagement on July 4-5, 7. In its first year of operating, the new venue anticipates hosting roughly 150 music, entertainment and sport events in the O2 Arena.
