Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Silversun Pickups, El-P, Deerhoof and Tokyo Police Club will perform at the 2007 PLUG Awards, which will be held Feb. 10 at New York's Irving Plaza.

Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Silversun Pickups, El-P, Deerhoof and Tokyo Police Club will perform at the 2007 PLUG Awards, which will be held Feb. 10 at New York's Irving Plaza. Each artist will play a 20-40 minute set at the event, which will be hosted by comedian David Cross.

Malkmus will also receive PLUG's 2007 Impact Award for his "influence on independent music," according to organizers. The Jicks' appearance at the awards is their only scheduled date in the New York area as part of a tour that begins Jan. 5 in San Francisco.

Other performers secured multiple PLUG nomination this year, including Silversun Pickups with seven, Tokyo Police Club with two and Deerhoof and El-P with one each.
