Azealia Banks won’t make it to shows this weekend at Chicago's Lollapalooza and Montreal’s Osheaga due to a throat infection.

It’s the second successive year the New York rapper has pulled out of festivals at the eleventh hour. Last year, Banks canceled a handful of U.K. and European summer dates, including shows at Lovebox, Rockness, Park Life and Rough Beats fests. Her explanation at the time was: “They were all prematurely booked by my old management without any consideration for me and the album I need to finish!”

The album that apparently messed-up her plans, “Broke With Expensive Taste,” has yet to drop.

Banks didn’t cover herself with glory when she played a set lasting just 25-minutes at Australia’s Splendour in the Grass in mid-2012. She later blamed the festival’s equipment for her shortened set.

On a separate visit to Australia earlier this year, Banks unleashed a Twitter tirade at the Stone Roses, who she claiming had hijacked her set by soundchecking as she sang.

Frank Ocean won’t be playing the upcoming Osheaga Fest either. The rising R&B star has had to drop out after suffering a tear to his vocal cord during the opening night of his recent Australian tour – which was subsequently cancelled.  Miguel will fill Ocean’s slot at Osheaga.
