Pitbull to Take Home BMI Latin Awards Honor

Pitbull will be presented with the President's Award at this year's BMI Latin Awards, the event's top honor.

The March 30 ceremony, held in Las Vegas, is set to honor the songwriters and publishers behind the year's most successful Latin music.

The Cuban-American rapper notched a string of hits last year, including "Give Me Everything" (a Hot 100 No. 1), the T-Pain featuring "Hey Baby (Drop It to the Floor)," "Shake Senora," and "Rain Over Me."

Other awards presented at the ceremony will include song, songwriter and publisher of the year. Previous President's Awards have been given to artists included Juanes and Kike Santander.
