Regina Spektor's "What We Saw from the Cheap Seats" will arrive May 29 on Sire/Warner Bros. Records, the singer-songwriter announced on Monday.
The new album, Spektor's follow-up to 2009's "far," will once again see production from Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Dr. Dre). The duo recorded the set in L.A. last summer. She released lead single "All The Rowboats" February 28.
The singer also unveiled the album cover on Monday, which features her wearing a peculiar black-and-red hat.
"I got that hat in Japan when I played there," Spektor told Rolling Stone. "I tried this hat on and it had this fun conductor-hat vibe, and the drummer I was playing with was like, 'You have to get the hat. you have to get it.' I got it and brought it home and was like, 'Great, I'm never going to wear this hat.'"
