Lindsay Lohan is heading back to high school -- McKinley High to be exact. The "Mean Girls" actress and sometimes-singer will be joining the cast of FOX's "Glee" to appear in an episode this season, her rep confirmed today with PEOPLE.
The appearance will tie in with the Nationals competition where she may be playing herself as a judge.
The move may come as a surprise to fans, as the show has thrown its share of jabs at the struggling star, most notably when fellow actress/singer Gwyneth Paltrow mocked her.
Perhaps the singing connection with "Glee" is more an indication that Lohan's music career is on the right path as well. Lohan does have two Top 20 albums to her name including 2004's No. 4-peaking "Speak."
