The entire world wants, no, demands to know: Are Kanye West and Kim Kardashian really dating (… or just old friends who see movies together and declare "I fell in love" in widely heard songs, both within hours of each other)?
In a visit to NBC's "Today" show on Friday, Kardashian did not confirm or deny the relationship, which has sent gossip media outlets into a nickname-worthy frenzy (Kimye!) since the pair caught a screening of "The Hunger Games" in NYC earlier this week.
"I completely respect and understand that you have to ask these questions, but as I've said before, Kanye and I have been friends for years," she told Ann Curry. "You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me."
West's new song, "Theraflu," includes blunt thoughts on his failed romance with model Amber Rose, who is now engaged to rapper Wiz Khalifa. "Only n---- I got respect for is Wiz, And I admit I fell in love with Kim around the same time she fell in love with him."
Kardashian told Curry, " So ... I like the song!" but clearly did not want to discuss West further.
From the NBC studios, Kardashian posted a photo of her and Nicki Minaj, who was also on the show Friday morning.
