Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" video is here at last.
The long-awaited video, which has been teased in clips and images for weeks, was premiered by MTV and Vevo on Thursday night.
The footage features Bieber getting close with an actress with a resemblance to real-life girlfriend Selena Gomez, as well as strumming a guitar, taking the wheel and showing off some flashy dance moves.
The grown-up track is the first single from the pop star's "Believe," which is due this summer.
A new Bieber video is an event: in October, he became the first artist to reach 2 billion views on YouTube, and "Baby" remains the site's all-time most-played track, with over 732 million views of Thursday. "Boyfriend" has already made its mark on the charts, bowing at No. 2 on the Hot 100 last month with an impressive 521,000 first-week downloads sold -- the second highest digital debut yet, below only Flo Rida's "Right Round." An audio-only Vevo upload of "Boyfriend" has already marked over 19 million views.
