Freak-folk foursome Animal Collective will issue "Centipede Hz," the follow-up to 2009's critically lauded "Merriweather Post Pavilion," on Sept. 4 through Domino Records.

The label officially announced the album and revealed its full track list on Monday (May 14). Last week, Animal Collective issued a digital bundle for a seven-inch single with two new songs, "Honeycomb" and "Gotham," neither of which will appear on "Centipede Hz."

Since the album release, singer-songwriter Noah Lennox, who performs under the name Panda Bear, released his fourth solo album, "Tomboy," in 2011.
