Axl Rose's $200,000 Jewelry Returned After Theft, Woman Arrested

Guns N' Roses Announces Fall Las Vegas Residency

Axl Rose's stolen jewelry has been returned and an arrest made, according to the AFP.

French police arrested a woman who returned the Guns N' Roses frontman's stolen goods, which included gold necklaces and diamonds worth around $200,000.

The woman reportedly told police she wasn't sure how she wound up with the jewelry after attending a private concert with Guns N' Roses following their Paris stadium show.

Previously, Paris police spokesman said Wednesday that the lead singer of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band was fuming after the theft during a private gathering after the band's show at Bercy stadium the previous night.

Judicial police had opened an investigation but the spokesman said it didn't appear Rose was wearing the necklaces at the time. The spokesman spoke on condition of anonymity because of office policy.

The group's website says they are scheduled to play in Moenchengladbach, Germany, on Friday before returning to France as part of a tour of Europe and Israel that runs through July 22.
