The July 30 Nashville showcase also included country hit-makers Jana Kramer, Easton Corbin, Jerrod Niemann and Randy Houser
Billboard and Pepsi's Summer Beats Concert Series landed in Music City on Monday with a rollicking, hip-shaking set courtesy of country upstarts Gloriana.
Tonight's event, held at Nashville's Cannery Ballroom, also featured performances by Jana Kramer, Easton Corbin, Jerrod Niemann and Randy Houser. Gloriana performed on the eve of the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album, "A Thousand Miles Left Behind."
Comprised of brothers Mike and Tom Gossin, plus Rachel Reinert, Gloriana tore through a set that was heavy on new tracks including "Can't Shake You," "Turn My World Around" and "Wanna Take You Home."
For "Turn My World Around," their newest hit currently at No. 3 on Hot Country Songs, the band enticed a young couple on their first date to take the stage for their first kiss.
"This song is helping people get some, all across America," Tom Gossin joked.
The event was the second in Billboard and Pepsi's summer series, which kicked off with a Katy Perry performance on Hollywood Blvd. in June. A third event will close out the series in New York City in August, with more information to come soon.
