Papa Roach To Make 'The Connection' in October

Papa Roach will return with "The Connection" on Oct. 2.
The new release follows 2009's studio full-length "Metamorphosis" and 2010's greatest hits collection, "…To Be Loved: The Best of Papa Roach." The busy group also released a combination live/studio collection, "Time for Annihilation: On the Record & On the Road," in 2010.
Single "Still Swingin'" will lead the upcoming set, with the band posting a behind-the-scenes video teaser on Wednesday.
In June, the rock veterans held a video chat in Tommy Lee's studio to discuss the album, announcing they were "wrapping it up." According to singer Jacoby Shaddix, the music was crafted as his wife left him -- and as he got sober again.
"I was totally heartbroken and wanted to kill myself, so we wrote some songs and I got through it," he said, appearing to be in a lighter mood.
The album will land on the band's own Eleven Seven Music.
