Watch the brooding, bloody "I Don't Deserve You" video from the German DJ exclusively here first.
Paul van Dyk has ridden high in 2012 with EDM moving to the forefront of the music zeitgeist and his own album "Evolution" only months old. But instead of stopping there the German DJ/producer has just released an "I Don't Deserve You" remix EP, and Billboard.com has the exclusive premiere of the video for the title song, "I Don't Deserve You," here before you can see it anywhere else.
"Electronic music is about sketching a vibe, an atmosphere," he told Billboard earlier this year. But van Dyk's video goes beyond just a sketch into a full-blown narrative involving a girl, a guy, a lonely farm road, rural cops, and blood.
The standard edit of the song, which features Tennessee singer Plumb, is one of many takes on "I Don't Deserve You" that fill the EP. Among the seven tracks are remixes by Seven Lions, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Lucky Charmes & Tony Verdult, Jerome Isma-ae and Maor Levi and Bluestone. It is available via iTunes.
