"The Voice" has been officially renewed for two more installments, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The NBC reality hit, currently on its third cycle, will return for fourth and fifth seasons. As previously reported, Shakira and Usher will be joining the show in as spring coaches in the fourth season as Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green focus on solo projects. The well-rated show notched 11.9 million viewers for Monday's episode, leading NBC to an overall ratings win among 18-49 year-old viewers as the 2012-2013 TV season begins.
With her hiatus coming, Aguilera will focus on the Nov. 13 release of her latest album, "Lotus," and its accompanying tour. Cee Lo, working on a Las Vegas residency and other projects, has said he intends to return for the fifth season.
"Our coaches have their chairs for life," producer Mark Burnett said in a previous statement. "This is exactly why, after three seasons, we needed to allow them to rotate out so they can get on the road amongst their fans."
