Jay-Z will celebrate his Brooklyn Nets' arrival at Barclays Center with the auction of a signed, limited-edition jersey.
10 "Carter 4" jerseys, including Jay-Z's birth surname, will be auctioned via Auctions.NBA.com beginning Wednesday, Oct. 17, with the sale ending Oct. 31.
Proceeds will benefit the Shawn Carter Foundation, which aids students facing economic hardships.
The hip-hop mogul is a part-owner of the Nets and helped launch the new stadium with an eight-concert run, as well as showcasing his NBA bona fides by executive producing the video game "NBA 2k13."
