Meat Loaf Enlists Lil Jon, Chuck D for Upcoming 'Hell'-ish Album

Meat Loaf would do anything for love -- including sing "America the Beautiful" at Mitt Romney's latest campaign rally.

The singer joined Alabama frontman Randy Owen and Big & Rich for the rendition, performed on stage in Defiance, Ohio on Thursday as the Republican presidential candidate stood by.

As the song concluded, Meat Loaf wailed wildly into his microphone, bending over to bellow, "From sea to shining sea," drawing a smile from Romney -- who's clearly not running for "American Idol" judge.

The rocker gave an endorsement speech as well, praising Romney's foreign policy and telling the campaign crowd he'd been "arguing for Mitt Romney for a year," according to the Los Angeles Times.

"You get out there and you argue with your relatives, you argue with your neighbors, you get in fights over politics and religion, 'cause we need Ohio!" he reportedly said. "God bless ya. We love ya. Thank you. Keep rockin', and Mitt Romney!"
