Days after Hurricane Sandy ripped through New Jersey, New York and other parts of the Northeast, NBC is staging a benefit concert to aid victims starring native sons Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi and Billy Joel.
"Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together" will air Friday at 8 p.m. ET on various NBC networks. The location of the concert has not been announced.
The concert was announced Thursday on the "Today" show by Matt Lauer, who will be on hosting duties. Other stars to perform include Sting and Christina Aguilera, who was born in the devastated NYC borough of Staten Island.
