With the impact of Hurricane Sandy still being felt, musicians including Mick Fleetwood, the Avett Brothers, Passion Pit, the Gaslight Anthem and Nicole Atkins have joined Move for Hunger's RebuildRecover effort to provide relief to New Jersey's coast.
The musicians involved have taped PSAs for the organizations.
"They are restoring, rebuilding and recovering the communities that are so dear to our hearts, by getting donations directly to those in need," Fleetwood says in his video.
A number of musicians have supported relief efforts in recent days: Rihanna made a $100,000 pledge today, Lady Gaga has given $1 million to the Red Cross and artists from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band to Christina Aguilera performed on last week's NBC telethon.
