Chart Debut Date: January 29, 2011

Britney Spears will premiere her much-anticipated "Hold It Against Me" single next Tuesday (Jan. 11), the singer announced Thursday night on Twitter.

The news follows the leak of a demo the day before that appeared to be of the single and featured a different signer's vocals. Spears confirmed that demo was for "Hold It Against Me" in her Twitter post but promised that the final version would be even better, saying, "Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that's good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday."

Spears also unveiled the artwork for "Hold It Against Me" in her post: a close-up shot of the pop star wearing nude makeup and cupping her face. The song is from her upcoming album, slated for release in March.

Here are the lyrics for the demo of Spears' "Hold It Against Me":

Hey, over there

Please forgive me

If I'm coming on too strong.

Hate to stare

But you're winning

And they're playing my favorite song.

So come 'ere, little closer

Wanna whisper in your ear.

Say it clear, little question

Wanna note how you just feel.

If I feel my heart was beating loud,

If we could escape the crowd some how,

If I said I want your body now,

Would you hold it against me?

'Cause you feel like paradise

And I need a vacation tonight.

So if I said I want your body now,

Would you hold it against me?

Hey, you might think

That I'm crazy,

But I think you're just my type.

I may be little hazy,

But you just cannot deny

There's a spark in between us.

When we're dancin' on the floor

I want more, wanna see it,

So I'm askin' you tonight

If I feel my heart was beating loud,

If we could escape the crowd some how,

If I said I want your body now,

Would you hold it against me?

'Cause you feel like paradise

And I need a vacation tonight.

So if I said I want your body now,

Would you hold it against me?
