Michael Jackson's Family Able to Sue AEG Live, Court Judge Says

According to Superior Court Judge Yvette M. Palazuelos, Michael Jackson's mother Katherine Jackson is able to move forward with the civil lawsuit against concert promoter giant AEG Live. Palazuelos turned down AEG Live's motion to dismiss the case that claims the company is responsible for the medical decisions made by Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's physician at the time of his death. Now the plaintiffs' lawyers have until March 22 to amend their complaint. (AP)

Justin Bieber Dishes On Selena Gomez At 'Never Say Never' Screening

Justin Bieber gave a quick interview at the New York screening of his new flick "Never Say Never" Wednesday night (Feb. 2). Among the topics discussed were Selena Gomez, the making of his film and Chuck Norris. "I think anyone would be lucky to date her [Gomez]," Bieber said when asked of their rumored relationship. "She's a great person." (MTV)

'American Idol's' 'Perfect Lovers' May Be Perfect Liars
Seemingly super-cute couple Nick Fink and Jacqueline Dunford told the "American Idol" judges in Austin (which aired last night) they'd been dating since they met in their college choir. One "Idol" informer says no way. The source claimed the pair never acted like a couple when they were in Hollywood. The source told TMZ, "Jacqueline had no interest in Nick whatsoever." TMZ also spoke with Fink's father, who insisted the two are "madly in love." We just have to know what's happening behind the scenes-- are these two making out, or are they making it up? (TMZ)

Slash's Wife Accused of Assault

According to police reports, Slash's wife Perla Hudson has been accused of kicking another woman in the stomach. This took place backstage after Slash's performance during an Ozzy Osborne concert in L.A. when Mrs. Slash saw her husband chatting with another woman and supposedly proceeded to attack her. The appropriate investigations are now being made but so far there have been no charges against Hudson. (TMZ)

Kate Moss and the Kills' Jamie Hince Engaged

British model Kate Moss and the Kills' Jamie Hince have announced their engagement. Hince reportedly proposed to Moss Tuesday night. A wedding date of July 2 has been announced -- and apparently, it will be big. "They're going to have the mother of all weddings," a source said. "It will be a huge party, one of the biggest she has ever thrown -- and she's thrown a few." (The Sun via Spinner)

Dubstep Star James Blake Signs To Universal Republic

Breakout U.K. dubstep star James Blake has been signed to the Universal Republic label, furthering rumors of a U.S. release of his self-titled debut album. Blake has already been signed to Atlas/A&M in the U.K., where he will be releasing the album on Feb. 7. A U.S. release date has yet to be named. (Pitchfork)
