Cee Lo Green isn't just a top nominee for Sunday's Grammy Awards, he's also a last-minute hero for an ill Rihanna and the Women's Cancer Research Fund.
The "F**k You" singer filled in for Rihanna after she had to cancel her scheduled performance Thursday (Feb. 10) at the organization's annual fundraising dinner because of the flu. At press time, Rihanna was still sick, but she is expected to perform alongside Drake during the Grammys on Sunday.
Green warmed up his voice and his four-piece, all-female band at "An Unforgettable Evening," the star-studded fundraiser held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel, where he performed four songs.
Conan O'Brien served as host and Annette Bening and Martin Short were honored at the annual event, which has raised $25 million for research and education about women's cancers.
