Popular YouTube act Noon rises 12-8 -- visiting the top 10 for the first time. She continues to be a phenom on MySpace, actually earning more views to her official page last week than anyone else on the chart save for Lady Gaga.
The Social 50 ranks the most active artists on the world's leading social networking sites -- YouTube, Vevo, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and iLike -- using a formula blending weekly additions of friends/fans/followers along with weekly artist page views and weekly song plays.
Gaga isn't the only act that doesn't move this week -- the entire top five is static. Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Eminem and Shakira all hold at Nos. 2-5, respectively. Akon motors 10-6 while Katy Perry falls one spot to No. 7. Avril Lavigne is steady at No. 9 while Michael Jackson climbs three spots to No. 10.
Pitbull meanwhile earned a 39% gain in week-over-week plays on his official Vevo channel, while he also notched a 3% rise in Twitter followers and MySpace plays. Credit some of the buzz to his two current Billboard Hot 100 hit singles: his featured turn on Jennifer Lopez's "On the Floor" (No. 5) and his own "Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)" (No. 15).
