Jennifer Hudson, Sugarland Taking "American Idol" Stage Next Week

Jet Harris, Shadows Guitarist, Dies at 71

British musician Jet Harris, who played bass guitar in Cliff Richard's band The Shadows, has died aged 71, British media reported on Friday. With The Shadows, Harris enjoyed a string of hits in the late 1950s and early 1960s including "High Class Baby," the chart-topping "Apache" and "Guitar Tango." (Reuters)

Drake, Bill Clinton Headline Hollywood Charity Event

President Bill Clinton's Clinton Foundation hosted a benefit last night in Hollywood for the Millennium Network with a special performance by Drake. After being introduced by Clinton ("We do have one thing in common: he was recently nominated for a Grammy, and a I won two," Clinton joked about the rapper), Drake took the stage and performed "Thank Me Later" highlight "Show Me a Good Time." Matthew Morrison to Direct "Glee" Episodes

"Glee" actor Matthew Morrison is a Broadway star, a TV actor and a songwriter, but soon he will add another role to his resume: director. Morrison says that he hopes to take on the director's role on "Glee" and said he will "definitely in the third season." ( Reuters)

"American Idol" Ratings Fall 16%, Hit Season Low

"American Idol's" elimination episode last night, which sent Karen Rodriguez packing, represented a season low for the show's ratings. A 16% drop to 19 million viewers could be explained by the St. Patrick's Day holiday and the NCAA basketball tournament, although "Idol" still came in first place in its time slot. ( THR)
