Jane's Addiction Debuts New Track, 'End to the Lies'

Jane's Addiction Reveals 'Lies' Recording Session in New Video

Before Perry Farrell helps bring Lollapalooza to Chile for the first time this weekend, the Jane's Addiction frontman has unveiled the first taste of his band's upcoming fourth album. Farrell debuted new track "End to the Lies," the lead single off "The Great Escape Artist," on Chilean radio yesterday (Mar. 30).

With TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek playing bass and handling production on the track, "Lies" features traces of TVOTR's melodic noise-rock, although Farrell is as steady as ever on the mic. "You never really changed like they say/Oh, you've only become more like yourself," Farrell croons over the massive percussion.

"The Great Escape Artist," Jane's Addiction's first full-length since 2003's "Strays," is expected to be released this summer, possibly around the same time that Lollapalooza, celebrates its 20th U.S. anniversary in Chicago. In the meantime, Jane's Addiction, Kanye West and the Killers will bring inaugural Chilean Lollapalooza to O'Higgins Park in Santiago on Saturday and Sunday (April 2 and 3).
