My Chemical Romance Responds to Glenn Beck's 'Propaganda' Accusations

"Pay attention to the lyrics," Beck said of "Sing," which was recently re-released as a charity single for Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief. "This is propaganda… It's an anthem saying 'Join us.' How can you and I possibly win against that?" Now the band's leader, Gerard Way, has responded via a blog posted on MCR's website on Saturday (Apr. 30): "Think the word Glenn Beck was looking for was 'subversion' not 'propaganda,' because I don't know what it would be considered propaganda for - truth? sentiment?"
