Jason Aldean Portrait

Up for four CMT Music Awards this month and on the cover of Billboard this week, Country hitmaker Jason Aldean was also a star speaker at Billboard's Country Music Summer on June 6. And that's all not even to mention his massive U.S. summer tour, which is crossing the country through September. Aldean's packed schedule means it was the perfect time for a Live Q&A!

We chatted with the man himself on June 6, right after he did his turn as a star speaker at Billboard's Country Music Summit in Nashville. He talked about everything from his old jobs (soda delivery guy) to making hits to his thoughts on 'American Idol,' hip-hop and more. Plus he answered a ton of tweets from the Aldean Army live on camera. Watch the archived video of the whole conversation below.

Aldean, of course, has been topping Billboard charts for the past five years, and 2011 has been no exception. After debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with his latest album "My Kinda Party" and earning his fifth Country Songs No. 1 with his Kelly Clarkson duet "Don't You Wanna Stay" this spring, Aldean is gearing up for a hot summer indeed. Up for a whopping four CMT Music Awards on June 8, Aldean is in the midst of a massive U.S. summer tour, which is crossing the country through September.
