Beyonce Producer Bashes Kelly Rowland's "Motivation"
Jeff Bhasker, a producer on a number of Beyonce's "4" tracks, bashed Kelly Rowland's "Motivation" on Twitter today, saying "How can this kr song with the weakest beat and melody of all time be the #1 song on urban!? Oh yeah. Wayne." He continued to the former Destiny's Child singer, tweeting, "I just listened to Motivation again to see if I was to harsh in my critique. I wasn't. The lyrics are horrid as well." Chris Brown Cast in 'Think Like a Man' Comedy
Chris Brown has joined the cast of "Think Like a Man," the film adaptation of radio personality Steve Harvey's best-selling book, "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man." Production on the Screen Gems comedy has begun in Los Angeles. The project's cast also includes Taraji P. Henson, comedian Kevin Hart, Meagan Good and Gabrielle Union. "Think Like a Man" is scheduled for release in April 2012.

Jerry Ragovoy, Rolling Stones Songwriter, Dies at 80
Jerry Ragovoy, a songwriter credited with songs made famous by the Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin and others, has died at the age of 80. Ragovoy died last week at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. Jim Steinblatt, a representative for the performance rights group ASCAP, says he died of complications from a stroke. Among some of Ragovoy's most famous tunes were "Time Is On My Side" by the Rolling Stones and "Piece of My Heart" by Janis Joplin. ( Associated Press)

"Glee" 3D Movie Soundtrack To Be Released Aug. 9
The "Glee 3D Concert Movie" soundtrack will be released on Aug. 9, a few days before the movie hits theaters on Aug. 12. It features 23 songs from the movie, performed at the "Glee Live! In Concert!" tour. The motion picture soundtrack includes "Glee's" covers of Journey, Florence & the Machine, Katy Perry, Pink, Paul McCartney, and more.

M83 Announces New Record, Debuts New Track
After earning raves for 2008's "Saturdays=Youth," electro-pop artist M83 will release the follow-up, "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming," on Oct. 18 via Mute. A new song, "Midnight City," which features plenty of sunny synths and a blistering sax solo, is also available for download. ( Pitchfork)

Bob Seger Announces Fall Tour Details
Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band have revealed several cities they will play on their recently announced fall tour. The "coast to coast" tour will make stops in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Orlando, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and Vancouver.
