Radiohead To Release Double-Disc Remix Album in October

After releasing eighth full-length "The King of Limbs" last February, Radiohead will let other artists take a crack at expanding upon the album's eight tracks on "TKOL RMX 1234567." The 19-song, double-CD remix album will be released Oct. 11 on tbd Records.

Canadian psych-pop musician Caribou, veteran electro producer Four Tet, British post-dubstep star Jamie XX and mysterious remix maestro SBTRKT are among the artists re-imagining Radiohead's latest full-length. The group previously released a handful of "King of Limbs" remixes, such as Lone's take on "Feral" and Thriller Houseghost's "Give Up the Ghost" remix, as 12-inch singles last month.

Although Radiohead played a surprise set at Glastonbury festival in June, the group has yet to announce a proper tour behind "The King of Limbs." The album has sold 241,000 copies since its release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
