Jon Stewart To Hold Nirvana Special With Remaining Members on SiriusXM
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Nirvana's "Nevermind," comedian and "The Daily Show" host Jon Stewart will be hosting a two-hour Q&A session with the surviving members of the band on SiriusXM, Sept. 24. Dave Grohl, now the lead singer of the Foo Fighters, will be interviewed along with Krist Novoselic and "Nevermind" producer Butch Vig. Miley Cyrus will soon be an aunt, as older brother Trace and his girlfriend Brenda Song are expecting a baby, sources say. The Metro Station frontman and the "Social Network" actress best known for her roll on Disney's "The Suite Life of Zach and Cody" have been quietly dating for months, first debuting their relationship at a Nylon magazine party this spring, and on the website for Cyrus' clothing line, for which they both model. New Kids On The Block's Donnie Wahlberg and his brothers, chef Paul and actor Mark, are working to create a new burger joint, Wahlburgers, in Hingham, Mass. After discovering that a New York restaurant had patented the Wahlburger name, the three bothers were finally able to work out a deal and are on their way to opening Wahlburgers at the Hingham Shipyard, across from the family's Italian restaurant, Alma Nove. Cyndi Lauper Reaches Out To The New York Homeless LGBT Community
Pop singer Cyndi Lauper plans to open a housing facility for homeless LGBT youth in New York City this fall. Located on West 154th Street near Frederick Douglass Blvd. in Harlem, the True Colors Residence will offer thirty studio apartments for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered youths aged 18 to 24. Conceived in conjunction with West End Intergenerational Residence, the project will be the first of its kind located in the city. ( Rolling Stone)
