Multi-nominee Calle 13, Venezuelan troubadour Franco de Vita with Mexican rocket Alejandra Guzman, rockers Mana with Prince Royce (who performed last year but is featured in a remake of Mana's current single, "El Verdadero Amor Perdona"), Person of the year honoree Shakira, icon Marco Antonio Solis and newcomer Sie7e are the first artists confirmed to perform at the upcoming Latin Grammys.
The awards will take place Nov. 10 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and will air live on the Univision network. The awards will be hosted by Mexican singer/actress Lucero, who also hosted last year, alongside Chilean actor/host Cristian De la Fuente. Among those confirmed to give out awards are are Hollywood actress Zoe Saldana and TV actress Adamari Lopez.
Calle 13, comprised of Eduardo Cabra and Rene Perez, received a record 10 nominations this year, including Album of the Year for "Entren Los Que Quieren" and Record of the Year for "Latinoamerica." Solis' "A Donde Vamos a Parar" is also up for Song of the Year, while Shakira's "Sale el Sol" is nominated for Album of the Year. Puerto Rico's Sie7e will compete with Alboran, Max Capote, Paula Fernandes and Il Volo in the Best New Artist category.
