'X Factor': Judges Pick Oddball Songs From Movies For 11 Finalists

Last night's (Nov. 9) episode of "X Factor" featured live performances by the remaining 11 contestants, and one very awkward theme. Rather than working within the motif of film soundtracks, the judges chose some of the most obscure movies possible -- "You, Me and Dupree" and "Car Wash" for example -- just to get the songs they wanted.

At the start of the show, footage was shown of the contestants walking the red carpet and rubbing elbows with Adam Sandler at the L.A. premiere for his new movie, "Jack and Jill."

Kicking off the show was 42-year-old Stacy Francis, singing "Queen of the Night" from "The Bodyguard." L.A. Reid was unimpressed with the song choice, wishing that Francis had been given "I Will Always Love You" instead (to which we say, who wouldn't?). For "Queen of the Night" he joked: "I co-wrote the song, I still don't like it!"
