1000 No. 1s Video Series Day 3:
B.o.B Talks About Topping the Hot 100
2011 was the year that Billboard celebrated the 1000th No. 1 song on the Hot 100. As we look back on this year in music, we're celebrating that milestone with a month-long series of videos --- one for each day of December -- chatting with 31 of the hitmakers who rocketed to the top of the chart since its inception in 1958. SEE THE FULL CHART HERE.
Atlanta rapper B.o.B chose wisely for his debut single, "Nothin' On You" off "B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray," which featured up-and-coming crooner Bruno Mars. The song was nominated for Record of the Year at the 2011 Grammys, after reaching No. 1 on the Hot 100 in May 2010 and staying there for two weeks. The catchy track launched the charismatic hip-hop artist -- and Bruno Mars, for that matter -- to a whole new level of fame.
