Coachella Expansion Aims to 'Create More Room' for Fans, Says Fest Founder
Singer Alexis Krauss of Sleigh Bells performs during Day 1 of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival 2011.

Don't look for Sleigh Bells to lighten up in 2012: the indie duo's next album will be titled "Reign of Terror," the group announced with a new video teaser on Friday.

The video, soundtracked by a chugging riff coated in the band's signature extreme distortion, alternates between high-definition live footage and home video-style backstage and studio shots.

In May, the group told Rolling Stone to expect a "really heavy record."

"A lot of the stuff that Derek has recorded, sounds more immense to me," singer Alexis Krauss said at the time. "It sounds really huge, so there's going to still be tons of volume."

A "Reign" release date has yet to be announced. The band's debut album, "Treats," was released in 2010 by Mom + Pop Music/N.E.E.T. Recordings.
